Website design contracts are generally lengthy and complex, so we’ve been trying to make ours shorter. Regarding website design and customization and wherever you see the term CLEAR DEAL *, the following conditions will apply:
(1). We will not undertake a job or host domains that are of adult nature or associated with arms, drugs, pornographic or profane materials. Should this happen independently of our knowledge the website will be shut down as soon as we will become aware and no refund will be given.
(2). Our packages provide a limited number of stock photographs, as described in the Plans. It is expected that the customer will provide photographic information for the website, as well as textural content and keywords related to his/her business (in digital format!). Such material (including a list of products in Excel or comma delimited format if the website is an e-commerce) is expected within one month from our initial request, otherwise the contract will be canceled and no refund will be given. It is your responsibility to have full rights of publication to any material supplied to us.
(3). Payment. The amount will be paid as follows: 25% at the order, 75% at completion (website finished and approved). The project will be completed within a month from the order (subject to client’s prompt delivery of photographic and textural materials).
(4). Cancellation. Should you be unhappy with the website, within a month after completion you will be refunded the money paid less domain name registration cost (if any) and less 15% cancellation fee. There is no refund on the 25% deposit for cancellation before completion.
(5). Amendements and revisions. Revisions of agreed milestones and revisions after the live site has been approved will be charged accordingly to our Plan T (hourly fee).
(6). Copyright. Our services are supplied as independent (not hired) contractors. All rights to the creative content of the website stay with us, the creators of the site.
(7). Liability. We are not liable for any loss (financial or otherwise) derived from the website, either during the planning and designing stage or when it is live. We are also not responsible for any changes made to the website by anyone other than ourselves.
(8). Maintenance and technical support. After project completion (live site), maintenance is at our discretion. We will be more than happy to advise or help you with any minor issue. Other than that, the customer is expected to purchase our Maintenance Plan if he/she desires frequent changes or constant attention.
*Our other services (not marked CLEAR DEAL) are simple transactions where you basically “buy” a predetermined product (such as “WordPress installation”), so the usual long distance regulations apply.
For SEO (search engines optimization) work, we guarantee to offer a service at the best of our expertise, but we can not guarantee your position in Google and other engines search results.
